SURPRISED by HOBONICHI TECHO 2021! (Unboxing Original + Cousin Avec)

Is it 2021 yet? I got my first ever Hobonichi planners and I'm so ready to use them. I was pleasantly surprised by the small details in the products I had never noticed only in photos. (I also didn't know they included pens!) Needless to say I'm excited to try them out! What planner are you using for 2021?

This helped me thank you, I’ve never held one either but I ordered one lol, I still can’t decide between the avec and a simple b6 slim notebook as a bullet journal for less pressure! Your video made it look very appealing lol. I’m thinking… will I keep up with filling up these pages, it’s so big 😂

The Japanese versions are colorful. The English planner is just black with red for the weekends. The 3 color Jetstream ballpoint is included each year in a different color. The Fude pen is this year’s other gift. The gift changes each year. One year it was a card game, another year it was a little plate to hold trinkets. There was even a year where they gave a little silicone holder for tissue.

Jumped over here today because I never get to watch my YT any more with making so many videos and I loved this one! I've never even heard of this brand but they look so nice! You know what those 2 pen holder flaps looked like to be - it looked like it was meant for 1 pen and that would "seal/close" it up - does that make sense? Put one pen through both loops to close it

It’s actually the 20th anniversary of the Techo book itself! The Hobonichi company has been around MUCH longer than 20 years 😁

I think you can "lock" the cover with the double toops. You're supposed to use the pen to hold the loops together. Not necessarily for 2 pens =)

Where did you order your hobonichi? Could you share the Link. I don't find the original seller, just stationary on-line stores. I'm in Germany, maybe that's why. But I would love to have a similar unboxing experience 😍

To place your techo in the cover: bend the cover back like a butterfly. Then bend the front and back of techo back like a butterfly. Then slip it in to the pockets.
