Amazing television - picture quality is superb and the lighting is so much more than a gimmick! Miss it on a regular set! Philips UK customer support is the worst I have ever encountered... unacceptable on an item costing almost £2000 at purchase.. after 9 months of chasing and problems finally got software update and tv runs like a dream...

can u check please, if i connect an external speaker set to this tv, with the 3.5mm headphone jack, can i adjust the volume by simply pressing the volume up and down on the remote controller? OT do i have to open a menu in the TV, and than adjust the volume for the headphone?

If one was to buy this TV, and used it often in a darker room, is reducing the greens all that’s needed to calibrate the out of the box settings to match your peak performance?

I bought a Philips 55POS9002/12 couple days ago.About 5 minutes later I turn on the TV, picture regularly slides from left to right, from right to left or from top to bottom when i watch tv or netflix.Even when i am on setup screen. So this makes a gap between the picture and the frame and one frame looks thicker than the others.I called Phillps and i have been told this is normal and it is to prevent burn in images. It sounds really stupid. Is there anyone facing the same problem ? Should I return the TV ?

My only concern is that it is a Philips, so quality and reliability will be a question mark on this television.

Amazing television (after some minor settings tweaking) and the Ambilight is such an amazing addition.. watching regular TV just isnt the same after! A huge step up from my 10 year old plasma! Software can be buggy and I've had to do a factory reset and then software update.. twice! This lost all calibrated settings. Philips after sales support is shocking... all web chats.. people agree to do things.. they dont! Over and over! Shocking for a £2000 tv. The HDR picture is beautiful and the lighting effects add to your viewing experience!
