The Clash - Guns Of Brixton (Original) - 1979

Song was the first song written by Paul Simonon from "the Clash". Maybe the most important rock post punk band. Also it was the first song Paul Simonon was responsible for singing. In fact of the cultural feel of the area the song has also a reggae like attitude.

The song also pre dates the riots in Brixton which took place in 1980, after the track was released.

The Clash are real heroes to us. Mick jones, Joe Strummer, Paul Simonon... what a combination.
