I heard a fan-made cover of Prince Ali by annapantsu and then noticed someone made a good attempt at stitching together the original and her version. However, it was a bit rough in places. I did my own mix to try and make the transitions as seamless as possible and improve the overall listening experience. I hope you enjoy!

Audio Process:
Took about 6 hours to do because I was learning new techniques. Center channel extracted audio from Anna's and Original songs. Re-timed, and repaired audio tracks using time stretch and EQ. Laid the vocals on top of an instrumental track. Blended transitions using compressors and dynamic processing.

Y’know, the original version of the story of Aladdin had TWO genies: one from the lamp, and another connected with a ring. Something like this duet makes me wonder what the Disney movie would’ve been like if they went with two genies playing off of each other. Maybe make the genie of the ring a female to differentiate that one from the genie of the lamp played by Williams, and you’d wind up with something like this. Might’ve been fun to see.

Fun fact: Female genies were called “Jinns”. They were known to be much more devilish than the males. For example, if you wished for pie:

Female Jinn: Makes the pie and then smashes it in your face.

Woah. I've noticed that there's a few of these Anna/Genie duets, but this one has got to be the most well put together. Re-timing the vocals was done very nicely, which made me like this version much more compared to the rest. Are you going to be doing more of these duet audio mixes? If so, are you planning to do Friend Like Me, another cover that Anna sang?
