I like how there's a distinct difference between Robin's and Will's characterization of the genie.
Robin has more of a classic, cheesy and goofy personality focusing around comical nonsense, while Will has more of a modern, smooth persona, mucking around and just being cool.

I was initially really worried that the genie wouldn’t be the same without Robin Williams, but I LOVE that Will Smith didn’t try to replace him but instead out his own spin on the character. It was one of the biggest surprises in the movie and I loved it...
