Super clever. Thanks for the oh that will work moment. I can modify that. Base square make 51/2”. Bias square make 5”. ( optional) not shown on this video The very center Inside square make 4 7/8”. Take base square iron creases to make make into four equal parts to form placement lines. Iron your bias square as show then place on base square with the points 1/4” from the edges Then sew ... then add the very center square on top of the bias square roll edges and sew down curves. Done. Make more. With the extra 1/4” on the base square you don’t lose your points when sewing individual blocks together.

easy to follow how she presented it; I noticed that when squares were sewed together, points of the "star" became blunted (not pointed)which is nice as we don't always have to worry about the points.

Easy yes, but The trade off is you loose the points.
