This didn't work with my A1. It stops at 30 sec. I have the camera in Manual mode. I have tried the drive mode in Single, Bracket, and Timer. Also, AF-S and AF-C. Still nothing past 30 seconds when I keep rolling the dial.

Hello Mark In the Sony A7R V, if I’m shooting in Bulb mode (for example, 120 or 180 seconds per shot) for Milky Way photography on a star tracker and want to take five shots in sequence, how can I set it to function as an interval or use any preset, given that the built-in interval feature only allows exposures of up to 30 seconds?

I've always accessed in manual, single shot mode, by scrolling though the time settings past 30 seconds and getting "bulb." Is there another way to do it?

Hi Mark thanks for the guides they are very useful can I ask why don’t Sony let us go longer than 30” in bulb mode. Is it a case of firmware update or ?

Hi Mark, thanks for the great video. I have the A7IV and am wondering; when I use Bulb, I have to keep the button pressed in. Any way to avoid this?

So, if i don't want to buy a remote control, i can just use the creators app to shoot over 30 secondo in my sony a74?

It is working just with factory software. I was update software on a7 IV to 1.11 and BULB mode is gone...

Do you know why the A1 does NOT allow BULB mode when using the electronic shutter ?
