After seeing what happened to his mother, combined with the dogmatic, draconian, and just plain illogical reasoning at times of the Jedi code, a reasonable person pushed to the edge would’ve done the same thing Anakin did to the Tusken Raiders. That whole situation could’ve been avoided had the Jedi saved his mother.
