As the holidays approach, it’s time to recognize what makes Lyft… Lyft. Without you, people couldn’t get late-night rides home, patients wouldn’t be able to make their appointments, and folks wouldn’t be able to get home for the holidays. Thank you, drivers, for all you do.

lyft is evil, i live in a town that's scattered everywhere is 20 mins away from everywhere, i get rides where i have to drive 12 mins to pick up a passenger and they going on a 25min journey and i only get paid $8 or less, I am loosing so much money. Sticking to uber only from tomorrow morning, horrible people. also I drove 10mins to pick up a passenger only for her to call me when i got there that she wasn't ready and that I should leave, i tried to call her phone so I can cancel the trip and get $5, i couldn't get through to her phone, then i complained to lyft and the customer service fool told me i wouldn't get paid $5 because I didn't call the customer, I was almost in tears, told him i tried to call her line before cancelling but the number was blocked by lyft, and that she called me, besides i drove down 10mins just to pick her up, he was so nasty and insentitive and that's how i have been loosing money driving with lyft, thank God for my Uber customers who always tip me to cover for my Lyft losses. Doing ride share for Lyft is a therapy for both the passengers and the driver, sometimes you want the other person to listen and NOT wanting any advice.

Lyft is the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm 65 and have tried a failed taking test against younger people, I'm a New Yorker and I can drive. And now I have no money problems. :) :)

Lyft isn’t for the people Lyft is for themselves. They make millions, take more than what they need from the drivers fares, and when you have a cleaning fee they respond by saying you are trying to fraud them. You’re not even your own boss because you have to adhere to their stupid acceptance rate. My city is spread out and I’m sorry but I’m not driving 20 minutes to make $4.75 when I pick up the passenger. Start giving back to the drivers and START paying long distance pick up fees. You guys are nothing but a tech company getting rich, the only problem you are solving is putting local cab companies out of business.

I like driving for Lyft, I moved to the area so being new I have been learning my way around. I do agree that the wages are low with the price of gas and up keep on your car. I'm retired so every little thing helps. I'd like to see better pay.

Lyft driver here in las cruces New Mexico I get to meet a lot of people especially the college kids n my regular customers I make sure my customers get to their destination safely n I also get the travelers n they ask where is the best place to eat so I tell them some restaurants that r really good n even the bars n they will have to try it

I am grateful for this type of work and I mostly work over night hours and 95% of the time is enjoyable. I do feel like LYFT is taking more than their fair share but maybe it would help to see some kind of quarterly report to see expenses. I do know I have never heard someone say Uber is better or cheaper. I have heard from s majority that Lyft has a better quality experience. GPS could use an update or something but it too is still pretty impressive and my life is better with than without them both.

Lyft is bs the only person benefits from this app is the person trying to get a ride and lyft !! They don't show us the breakdown!! I had these guys going there cities over and they told me lyft charged them 70 bucks for the ride a lyft thought I only deserved 40 🤬 customer service a joke !! U don't talk to nobody!! Lyft is one of the WORST in U.S. history, I've got a YouTube channel since 2008 "before Lyft started" and my experiences with Lyft are disgusting especially when I meet people who gave thousands of rides to Lyft riders then got "deactivated" for no reason! Lyft SUCKS 👎🖕

Iam happy driving for Lyft.
AB5 will take away the flexibility which l currently have. I can shut off my app. ((no questions asked)) pick up the kids from school when needed, a great advantage for been an independent contractor.

I look upon my passengers as my boss. They are the ones who write me those beautiful reviews and give me those little raises (tips).
