The cake didn't have subsurface scattering so it looked more like plastic but it's still really impressive

Tbh I would have thought it was a painting of an ear, because the hair looks 2D. But I still think it is a really cool idea!! You are truly an amazing artist!!! I love when your cakes pop up in my feed!!! ❤️❤️

I wouldn't have thought it to be a real ear but I definitely looked like a painting or sculpture to me.

I think it looks really real but what makes it a little less believable is that it’s shaded slightly heavier on the ear than the real photos and the hair is a bit too smooth like you can’t really see each individual lock of hair

it’s definitely structurally real to me but the color is off. i feel it could be more vibrant. of course you already cut into; but for future reference, ear tones are pretty red on the edges

I would’ve believed it until I saw the hair, the hair is what I feel gave it away because it looks very flat, everything else was super good. But the hair just didn’t have any like..volume to it? I think if you made like the cake noddles to give it some definition or volume it would improve the cake! But it’s still super hood first glance!! ❤

this is so good! My one thought is that the finish looks a little chalky, but I'm not educated in cake so it's probably the best way to make it look skin-like.

The shapes were perfect, it was simply the texture that didn’t look quite right. Modeling chocolate seems to work better for your fruits and such!
