This site provides a mini-lecture series related to the art and science of public health by Dr. Wally J. Bartfay. This lecture explores noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) from a public health perspective. We explore so called "best buy" interventions, WHO targeted behaviours which include reduction of tobacco and smoking, adoption of health diets, harmful use of alcohol and promoting health and active lifestyles to decrease the incidence of NCDs globally.
