Thank you for this video. Unfortunately for a few of us, you are correct: networking is paramount. In person, or on zoom/online meets, it's obvious that those who are skilled at networking rise to the top, even if they have fewer talents/qualifications. Even in my profession (artist), where the weird and wonderful are often accepted, disability is not. I am still an outcast due to ableism and the unwillingness of others to communicate with someone in a different way. So I watch videos like this one in the hopes of finding a small golden nugget of wisdom or method I can use to somehow make my way; no luck yet. But you are eloquent and obviously intelligent and I bet you will be on top for sure!!!!
