New Subscriber! I have this wonderful study Bible in the NRSV Translation. I really enjoy the content in this Study Bible. I also have the HCSB Study Bible that you showed, and that is one of my favorite Study Bibles. The NIV Study Bible that you showed is an older version, and pretty thick! I have the updated NIV Study Bible, and I like that one as well. I am a Bible Collector and there are quite a few intriguing Study Bibles out now. I'll check out some of your other Reviews. I really enjoyed your Review. 👩‍🏫

Was blessed to buy this bible from our local thrift store for 3.00. Its brand new no writing in it even presented to was blank. God bless

I love how people knock other versions of the bible i was kjv only for 19 yrs until 2018 now i read em all.as long as people are getting saved ( born again) and reading the bible god is not going 2 cast u out of heaven and ask u why you were reading other versions.can u imagine god telling u depart from me ye who reads the niv? Yea didn't think so.people are ridiculous.ugh

I tend to see different versions of the bible as different tools in a tool box. NLT is different target than NASB, etcetera. NET bible has behind the scenes notes so you can see alternate rendering or word studies. Different study bibles target different things as well.

Why must publishers always produce super-thick Bibles? By doing so, they have to use thin paper and small fonts. I would gladly pay for a 2-volume set, divided into Old and New Testament with higher quality paper and larger fonts (10 point or larger).
