I think of Starscream similar to General Grevious from star wars. Both are actually quite powerful and deadly. But once their plan goes wrong, they gotta run. But for Starscream it's out of fear

Its not really a goofy death, cause well at first he was overconfident but once his eye was torn out he started panicking due to pain and when he was blinded he was having a panic attack sense he lost both eyes but he was still making death threats to sam
