Forgot to mention that the Maiming Strike prices were that high on PC after the acolytes vanished from the event and vanished again from reappearances (Im not sure what the prices were like for other platforms)

Ahh I slightly miss the days of spin 2 win. Brings back memories of when I was starting to get into the end game of Warframe. The only thing I'm sad about is the fact Scott said that "Maiming strike will still be a viable play style" but it's basically a wasted mod slot now to use Maiming Strike.

I remember playing warframe and falling in love with the gameplay and later the story. During my time I hadn't realized it but spin 2 win was definitely the most fun when playing back then. I know there were a lot of people that were mad at it back then too but you can't lie, seeing red numbers while going that fast was one of the most warframe has ever warframed. The Maiming strike hoarders took the heaviest blow (such as myself). I used to be extremely salty about this and was the final nail in the coffin for me taking a huge break from the game since they also took my simulor away from me. Now looking back at it the spin2win meta was really the pinnacle of brainrot gameplay

I loved this meta so much. Atterax, Orthos Prime, Guando, Galatine. those were the days. I quit warframe since I stopped playing PS4 years ago. Only came back now for cross-save and I still had Maiming Strike equipped on my Orthos Prime. Great memories seeing red crits through walls. RIP the most fun meta of Warframe, even though removing it was probably for the best.

Man the noobshowtek clip really reminds me back in the days where he helped me with most of his build. Still I had a chance to use maiming strike a lot with atterax/kronen + nekros and chroma + secura lecta, back when my fingers got muscles.

I was around when everyone (including me) doing memeing strike, really happy when I returned years later and found out Melee 3.0 basically killed it. I wonder if the new Tennokai will be the next "only" meta like this tho, I haven't touch it but it seems very potent.

8:15 This is inexact. Maiming strike was a flat increase that was applied after normal crit mods, like we now have with Arcane Avenger
The confusion comes from the fact blood rush was applied AFTER flat increases for some unfathomable reason

Seeing NoobIShowTek here is such a blast in the past. There were a lot of people asking DE some leniency for the ban but they didn't budge at all.

Also, as much as I hate Maiming Strike meta, seeing a Mirage with Telos Boltace running around in Akkad makes me happy cause I can just afk and they don't even mind at all.

I dont think charge attacks which got changed to channeling and back into charge attacks requires its own video. But i remember asking scott "Hey ....uh could we get charge attacks back along with channelling?"
And then he went "charge attacks are dead. Long live channelling"

Aaaaand then we got charge attacks back a year or two later cause they realised it was not great 🤣

Man this brings back memories, while even back then I never used Meme strike sticking mostly to guns the old combo system and the combo of Blood ruch+Body count was everywhere and IPS procing 4 times more than elements
