One of those talented actors who actually cares about tech behind all the magic that happens in the movies and video games!

Man, Andy Serkis is such a cool guy!
Where other actors just feel lost and like they just don't care when it comes to digital things -Andy feels enthusiastic, involved and genuinely interested.
It always felt like he was at the forefront of this and embraced it before anyone else. King Kong, Lord of the rings, Planet of the Apes, Tintin, Heavenly Sword, Enslaved. Need I say more?

This would be amazing for VR, as they would react to player and look you in the eyes, and feel live like.

I'd love to have a beer with Mr. Andy Serkis. He's such an intelligent, likeable guy.

I wonder all the time he spends around the artists if Mr. Serkis can sit down and do an actual animated short of his own, I want to watch him just work with Maya

At this age, he indeed looks like Golum now. May he live one hundred years more!

Something is still wrong with the eyes. Very uncanny like the ones on LA Noir, like a texture, even when seeing that the modelling is taking them in consideration. We can see some movement that is recorded, but it seems that they are not focusing, or lacking some eyelid/wrinkles movement that we're trained to observe. Maybe something in the capture processing, since we can see that some of the footage of the post captures the movements and even some iris changes. I don't know, hope it helps somehow. Nice results.

Graphics in Videogames have come a long way. We could one day perfect the technology of perfectly capturing an actor's facial features but is that really what we want? Personally i prefer a more stylized look than an uncanny valley of real actors

I remember seeing a story years ago about CGI and Digital effects and the man whos company was doing the research said that his goal was to make a movie with John Wayne and Humphrey Bogart and they never work together and its looking like that may happen.

You would think that Andy is a 3d animator. Obviously he is just reading a script that the company made for him.
