Great report! And yes, having flown the AC A330s in their old interior, this is a retrofit is a vast improvement. Especially for the IFE!

What a Coincidence! I took this exact flight on the Star Alliance livery A330 yesterday on Oct 16 2021. The plane wasn't refurbished and it was 3 hours delayed. But I'm glad I went on an A330.

I flew on the AC A330 and thought it was nice. But then flying on the AC Boeing 777 was even better.

The 777 is one of the most majestic aircraft today.

I saw that you are looking for future flight suggestions. I have been looking for a review of Air Canada's Premium Economy from Toronto to Manchester, UK. Pretty much all I have seen for Air Canada is domestic.

Great report! Air Canada certainly looks like a very nice airline, giving off the signature Canadian charm as the flag carrier. I only do wish Avianca were in a position to retrofit their old A330-200s to bring them up to 787 standards, especially with the worn out IFE throughout the cabins and abysmal business class seats. Alas, having just emerged from bankruptcy and scraping for any money they can get ahold of through new cost-cutting measures, perhaps the A330 retrofits will have to wait, or will perhaps never happen, if they hold them off until the last A330 is retired.

I can't seem to catch an A330 on any airline; btw, your night landing was lot clearer than my day landing in December of 2019! LOL
