🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:

*How much yarn will I need?* This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!

*How many squares do I need for a blanket?* That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀

I've made so many blankets but come back to the V-stitch every time. So simple and not heavy on yarn. Thank you.

The V stitch is probably my favorite. I’m so glad you knotted those ends before weaving. Some people say knots are a no-no, but I always knot when I can to make things more secure.

Thank you for this stitch, it is amazingly beautiful but so easy. And does not use a lot of yarn. Thank you for not using the music and not talking while you are stitching, it makes it so easy to be able to follow. Best vid of them all.

I am a lifetime knitter only doing crochet as part of the finishing work and minor other things but this has inspired me at 81 to experiment with this. You are an excellent teacher who has elevated this art to be more user friendly than I thought. Thanx, subscribed of course!

This is such a beautiful stitch, hard to believe it's so easy to do! My grandma has a blanket that her grandmother made using this stitch (and despite its age, it's in perfect condition!)

Your video literally taught me the V stitch. I'm on my second practice swatch now. Next I will introduce a second color. I've come back to your video several times to check my work and to rewatch it as I go. I can't wait to make something with the V stitch!

One of the best teaching videos I've seen for crochet. Your pacing was easy to follow, camera work was steady, and instruction clear. Thank you! Ready to start my first practice swatch now.

I always love your tutorials. I too have learned so much from you. I would like to also compliment you on your beautiful hands and lovely nails. I am so turned off by those who do the tutorials with dirty finger nails. I’m sure some will criticize me but I just think that if one is filming their hands they could at least have clean hands and fingernails. I can not grow nice fingernails but they are always clean. Especially after a year of being told to wash our hands fo health. Love the V stitch!

I’ve been a knitter for roughly 20 years but wanted to learn to crochet. I’ve watched a few of your videos over and over then just dived right in. I’ve already made 2 baby blankets this past month and working on a big blanket for myself. You make it all so easy to understand and follow along! Thanks so much! 😊

Need to go back to the “ V” stitch. This stitch and a granny stitch done in a rows seem to be my favorite.
Thank you for the lesson❣️

You have the best tutorial for the V-Stitch! I did a whole blanket a couple of years ago. I need a reminder lesson for another blanket. Im left handed, so I looked at left handed tutorials. Waste of time. I found yours and remembered that’s what I did. Thank you for explaining everything and not going fast. You’re awesome. 🧶
