Love this stitch I've used a DC stitch in a similar pattern it worked up nice but this will be better for a baby blanket

Hi Tamara! Great blanket. Was thinking of making into throw size. What weight yarn is the Dreamy? I have some Hayfield Spirit Chunky but it doesn't say what size chunky it is though. By looking at it, it seems to be a 5 wt., and calls for a 6.5mm hook but I think I would use an 8mm with it. Have you ever used it? And could this pattern be done with a 5wt. Yarn? Thanks so much
