Saudi Arabia has told the United States it will not open diplomatic relations with Israel unless an independent Palestinian state is recognised on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

With over 7 million Palestinians, that's neither fair, nor is it enough territory for a viable Palestinian state: they require '67 borders + the entire Negev, thereby joining Gaza and the West Bank and also giving access to the Red Sea (Eilat). Just as Palestinians have long been 20% of the citizens of Israel, so too can many Jews become citizens of Palestine. Such a solution would also better serve the Bedouin.
Furthermore, the BDS movement, amongst others, are also considering the one state solution, built on equality (for all citizens, incl. Jews), the right to self-determination, and the right of return (incl. reparations). The one state solution might be the more viable option.

As saudi citizen we are with our government and leaders. But that will not change the fact that this is only temporary to save Palestinian lives but in the long term israel will be no more, USA and western support is not eternal and i do not expect it to remain for the next 50 or 60 years.
