There are several reasons to learn Hebrew, the language of the Bible, the lingua franca of the Jewish People, and the official language of the reestablished State of Israel. If you're interested in learning Hebrew, please let me know! I teach Biblical Hebrew as well as Modern Hebrew. Leave your comments below!

Another reason why i love Hebrew..
Is the huge similarity to my language, Arabic, the direction of writing from right to left, the unique letters (advanced square letters), lovely accent,
The most common sounds kh, sh, and v that i like making a lot when speaking (like pronouncing v instead of b, which i had always liked to say in a silly way, and was amazed to learn that it's actually real !!!(dagesh in hebrew, from b to v) ),
and most remarkably,
The reason you mentioned at the end :nobody will understand you.. and i love my handwriting in it.. (nobody will understand that either..) lol

Add to that my interest in jewish history, folklore, and the massive similarities between Islam and Judaism..commitment to the law in both religions and modesty, beards, veils, boundaries between sexes, taharah ve tumah/najasa, kosher and halal.. all of these are beautiful 💕

I actually imagined myself some while ago, talking with a friend and then fighting over something with a future wife with the usage of Hebrew, with the family and people having no idea what we're saying, and we sounding cool with the beautiful Hebrew pronunciation and letters
.., and then came you and mentioned the very exact same idea.. Lol

I'm glad to see an up-to-date video of you, after having watched old videos about you long ago, performing the ancient israelite prayer ..

I teach Hebrew to Jews and non-jews. One of them even stopped believing that Yoshke was the messiah. He just read and found it out by himself.

You just sealed the deal for me on learning modern Hebrew. I've been listening to music in Hebrew and really wanted to learn the language but thought I wouldn't have any use for it beyond that, but now you gave me reasons to learn it. Thank You

Very sound reasoning, Yosef.

Indeed, I think it has motivated me to improve my Hebrew. I'm thinking of coming to Israel at some point; possibly for a shorter and/or longer period. When I do I would like to be able to converse in more than a couple of sentences with other people I might meet.

Brother can you give me the translation of As Salat الصلاة into biblical hebrew please? In the Quran صلاة has multiple meanings. Some say it is not the ritual prayer (like the amidah). I resesrched and found צלות and צלותא which sounds very similar to 'salat'. I found out that it means 'prayer' or 'he bowed in prayer' but I'm not sure if this is true. I hope.you can help me. שלום עליכם Salam Alaikum

Is there any program that you can recommend? Such as Rosetta ? I purchased a book recently which is kinda Kabbalistic that goes deep into each hebrew letter but that's all I have.

Please, ignore my comment to that idiot....
I just wanted to ask you one question. You previously posted a video about how to pronounce correctly classical Hebrew and you were quite precise and correct aboit it. How does it look to be learning and speaking the modern version of the language with the correct old or Classical pronunciation ? I mean all the letters/sounds that have become silent in the modern Hebrew. Thank you
