93 limited character banner pulls, 21 standard pulls, and 6 weapon banner pull. Completely reasonable.

i disagree with the standard pull statement.

standard pulls in wuthering waves are more important since you don't use them to pull for standard characters, you use them to get the standard 5 star weapons, which often can be a very good alternative to a chars signature weapon and for sure are better than 3 or 4 star weapons. the fact that you can even swap weapons while playing the tower makes these weapons even more powerful.. imagine having one "Emerald of Genesis" and being able to use this one copy of the weapon on all 3 DPS you are going to use to clear the tower.... that is so good that it even almost makes sense to pull limited chars which share e.g. "Emerald of Genesis" as their 2nd best weapon. you could play havoc MC, danjin and changli and use the one single copy of "Emerald of Genesis" you got.. saves resources from leveling, saves resources from pulling, give all 3 chars a descent weapon...

so in wuwa standard pulls are for sure worth more than in HSR. in HSR standard pulls are "yeah, fine whatever"

in wuwa standard pulls bring you closer to 5 star weapons and you can completely ignore the standard character banner. using your standard pulls on the standard character banner is just a waste - even more so considering that most of us already got 3 out of 5 standard chars anyway with 1 beginner banner, 1 choice banner and the "choose 1 standard 5 star" compensation thing we got

you will get your 4 star chars from the limited banners anyway and you get even the standard 5 star chars by losing some of your 50/50ies on the limited char banners.. so at this point in time the standard char banner in wuwa is kinda useless and bait - and standard pulls in general are worth more than in HSR and should be used on the standard weapon banner

and to make it clear: i am not saying to spend astrites on standard pulls, i am saying the amount of free standard pulls we get matters more in wuwa than it does in HSR

People say 90 limited pulls is so little meanwhile Genshin averagely get 50 to 60 limited pulls and no one is talking about it 😂

This is why being too generous is not good either. All those free shit Kuro gave got to some of the people's head. What's worse is that it's not even 1.1 patch yet. The game barely get released and people already malding. You guys are not 10 years old asking your parents for more pocket money every month.

The reason people are feeling a drought of pull income is because the pull income is gated by how fast you can clear the overworld. What I've noticed is they're distributing the pull income a majority towards the overworld content. WW currently does not have a large variety of weekly pull income outside of that except Tower of Adversity and daily quest. This is quite the opposite compared to their other game PGR, where total amount of pulls is actually timegated by the weekly missions. If we're talking about pull income in 1.0, we actually got alot for the overworld. I don't have the numbers to back up, but the distribution of pull income for WW feels like its 70/30, overworld to other source ratiowise, discounting any compensation or celebration rewards. This is the total opposite compared to PGR.

If you're clearing the whole overworld so fast, its normal to feel like your pull income is going to be slow compared to when you first started, you already cleared the content. That being said, he makes a good point that hologram and illusive realm has 0 playability. I would like to see weekly missions being a thing, daily missions is also perfect for me, they could add stamina as a reward there too like PGR, u get 60 stamina x4 per day that would solve a good amount of problems with the drop rates for things like tacet fields, forgery challenge etc. I'm not sure why Kuro wouldn't want to import more of their reward structure from PGR.

Bro a 90+ pulls every patch is already good enough to guarantee a 5* dont be too greedy, games like this requires heavy funding if you want them to keep updating the game

Ngl, I feel like a bunch of people just looked at the title and are jumping to conclusions.

Rn the MINIMUM pulls as a f2p for 1.1(not accounting certain puzzles) is 92 limited character pulls, 21 standard pulls, and 6 limited weapon pulls.

For a scale of reference, hsr's 1.1 gave 72 limited character pulls and 19 standard pulls.

AND ON TOP OF THAT, the hard and soft pity occurs earlier than hsr(especially the weapon banner).

Btw, I'm not saying this to put hsr down or anything, I like the game, just as a quick comparison so people don't worry about a "pull drought" in wuwa.

You have to understand that if you are playing as F2P, you ain't getting all the limited banners even if you have a monthly subscription. I have learned this the hard way (Genshin and HSR) so that is why I am saving for the character that I want. People with FOMO should not play gacha games if they want to play as F2P.

Just to put it into perspective, HSR 1.1 update gave us a total of 8640 jades + 20 limited pulls + 19 standard pulls.

I definitely noticed the lack of standard pulls. Not even from ascending characters, which is kinda weird. Overall rewards aren't bad though, but if I get the 5-star sword for my MC from the box when I get UL45, with the rate at which standard pulls are given it'll be a long time till I can get the rectifier for Verina

Didn't we just get 2 new events after alloy smelt back to back and one of those even gave 800 astrites and the other one 450, i really don't understand why ppl assume alloy smelt will be the only event of the patch. Is it doomposting season?

If i can get atleast 80 limited character pulls every patch as a f2p then i am good. This means that i can guarantee one limited 5 star every 2 patches and this is perfectly fine for me.

Illusive Realm does give rewards, I think its monthly. But it would make a lot more sense for it to be weekly like HI3's Elysian Realm.

The thing is, when compared to PGR:
1. PGR gave enough currency to pull S banner every other patch
2. Each patch only has 1 characters, alternate between S & A rank chara (...most of the time)
3. The pity pull is literally half of WuWa (60)
4. It's guaranteed (arguably interchangeable w/ the presence of WuWa wp banner)
So yeah, take that as you will, i wouldn't pass my verdict whether it's good or bad.
Also, first time here, ...the heck r u talking about? I thought i put my yt on 2x speed, lol😂

while i do think 1.1 is stacked as a f2p + you do have to consider that the 92 pulls is taking EVERYTHING in the patch which f2p players might not have the time to do its a similar thing with the idea of weekly refresh rewards for holograms f2p players might not have the time or skill to do that every week and that idea would mainly be catered to them but over all as long as i can pull for scar, geshu lin, and a hot woman support that works with them(which they 100% will make) i will be fine

Limited pulls might be okay depending on how they handle events going forward and how much exploration will give in newer regions. Standard pulls is definitely concerning though, there really aren't that many continuous sources and that selectable standard weapon banner looks great until you realize there's very little pull income to even fuel it. I think they should add standard pulls to character ascensions like Genshin/HSR, but also maybe add a few standard pulls to Illusive Realm shop since that seems to reset every patch too.

For casuals (eg, myself). It ain't gonna be enough because even the endgame stuff like ToA and Hologram won't be touchable (as in fully cleared or even cleared at all) by me and maybe a lot of people. And to make things worse, i play on mobile, albeit it is Tablet so it performs better. But no way near to the PC owners tech level. Double input? A dream.

If they gate the overall minute astrites value behind those difficult contents, than damn I'd be lucky to even pull every 2 patches. For me personally it would be nice to have a higher reward of astrotes in each segment of ToA to incentivize grinding.

The hologram refresh is the thing I agree upon too.

Overall... For me those reddit posts speaks a lot of my concerns atm, and would love to see if the devs can make it balanced, because truly. Some of those are just mindboggling as if it's begging for pulls. I hooe devs can make the game in the sweet spot to compensate casuals (which is their majority of market and players) but not downright disrespectful to the hardcore players.

As for the standard pulls? Bro I wish it was way more, as in, ot would be nice to have a steady flow of standards per week. Not by BP nor patches nor apologems.

But, it's just my 2 cents on the matter. Sorry if I rant.
