I am flat footed and I usually experience this after hitting some mileage in running. The first time I got the plantar fasciis, I cannot stand for too long, and I took ibuprofen. I can't do running. Things get worse as ibuprofen is temporarily remove the pain. I did all sorts of therapy from massage, and electric stimulants too waxing. It only reduce the pain temporarily only. After many months passed, I am grateful that a Hijama practitioner, suggest and do cupping near the heel area, and alhamdulillah, all the pain which has been there for months, just gone with the permission of Allah swt. Now it has become part of my therapy after high running mileage. I would often massage heel after every run to reduce the pain growth, and get stability shoes. Give it a shot. And it's best to do Hijama on the sunnah point as well together along the point around the heel. May Allah make easy.
