Hey there's a nother type of touch screen which is just uv rays getting blocked by a finger and that was the way it detected a presence of your finger

How do touchscreens work? Not very well. Especially for things like typing and automotive controls. Wasn't it great when everything had a switch that could be operated without (wait for it!) taking one's eyes off the road? And how often did said switches fail? Progress, right?
