How To: 2020 Subaru Crosstrek - Replace Cabin Air Filter

Показать описание
I show the steps to replace the cabin air filter in a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek.
✅Please Note:
The Subaru cabin air filter with its "UP" marking with an arrow pointing upward isn't always present on an aftermarket cabin air filter.
It's important to get the filter installed so that the air flows through the filter from the top side to the bottom side of the filter. The blower motor is located below the filter and it is pulling air through the filter from the top side of the filter to the bottom side. The "dirty" side of the cabin air filter will be on the top side of this vehicle's cabin air filter.
If you purchase a non Subaru cabin air filter and it states the airflow is in a particular direction with an arrow for the airflow or just an arrow with no label "UP" or "Airflow", make sure that points downward. If the filter is marked like the Subaru filter with an arrow and the word "UP" make sure the arrow points in the upward direction.
