My dad just hand down my grand dad 1985 pete 359 to me, with a 3406B with 1.5 million mile on it

There's a trucking company in Taranaki New Zealand that used to import Peterbuilts and convert them to RHD under full rebuilds.
Their colour scheme is very similar to the green Pete in the workshop.
Very smart looking rigs.

Cab looks a little off from the overall looks of the truck but versatility is a lot better! I thought the 589 would be a whole refreshed look but I’m happy they kept this design around a little longer

Definitely love the small cab 389 but 589’s not terribly bad maybe once they fix them up it might change perspectives on it

It needs a visor desperately but overall it doesn't look terrible. Fine... It looks good

I really do love the look of all those trucks... but comparing them with the EU trucks, they look to be a handful to drive... Especially the longer frames. What a huge turn radius they must have! So my hat's off for the guys and girls driving those and backing those things up with a trailer attached. But again: they really look freakin' cool!

That what im buying next is a 589 I really like the classic cabs worked on them for years but I like the cabs of the 589 thanks Bruce

That 589 shares alot in common with a T880

The 589 is just basically a 579 with a different nose and set forward axle.
