honestly can’t make this shit up. like remember in 1980s writing about 2020s like they were the 2080s? snd how it’s not true, but it is. we don’t have moon retreats and robot taxis, but we do have the potentials of AI and future tech close enough for interrogation, with the growing pressures of fascism rearing its head at the same time. its pretty awful, but if there was a best time for these things to be close enough to be taken seriously, it would be now. imagine if all these overt ethical dilemmas and crystal clear dark futures came in for questioning by the collective, only when we were further down the line? it’s the best time to understand that we can make a change and put a stop to this. it’s time for us all to figure it out
