Magical Destroyers is getting a lot of flack and I'm not gonna lie it has a weak start but the longer on it goes the more I see the positives which is what this short is all about.

Once you learn about shobon, and actually realize that the weird inconsistencies with writing and such is a canon plot point, things definitely change.

A lot of hints towards the ending and opening theme, the beta fish he puts in his mouth and spitting it out inside Shobon's cup and then the ending theme where Otaku Hero is being taken away and carried by angels. Honestly really cool

I thought the show was mostly average with some great moments. My main issue is it spent too long being goofy and random and then tried to make it up at the end. Don't get me wrong, the ending was amazing and made some brave and unique choices, but even if you have a good ending you still can't neglect the start of your show.

EDIT: the anime turned around and became good on the final 4episodes and overall its 6.8/10
im at episode 8.. while the humor is good the battles are something out of a kids action show aka ass (you really bated me on that one...) and dont know much about references..
so far overall its MID - bad... good humor, good ost and anarchy is powers va and thats all the positives for me (my anime ratings have 4 tiers.. bad, mid, good and peak fiction!)

How good is it really? I'm afraid to watch it personally, I went to school with Jun and I'd consider him a good friend. I'm worried I'll watch it and not like it. Funny enough we worked on a Manga together in HS as part of a school project. I miss my friend but I'm glad it seems he's doing well but I'm afraid the anime might disappoint me.
