I'm 18 now and I loved Alvin and the chipmunks as a kid and the 3rd one in the cinemas was the last movie I watched with my pop before he died from cancer and I grew out of the movies after then I watched the 4th one just for him and as soon as I found out after that he wasn't in it I just gave completely up on the shit movies

Alvin And The Chipmunks 2: The Sqeakuel was unfortunately the first movie I ever saw in theatres. I have to give massive props to David Cross for carrying those movies though. He's genuinely a great comedian and I can't imagine how awful it must have been to star in those movies lol

I was a very young child when the first of these movies came out, so being that I’m now an adult, I can say without any doubt whatsoever that the thought of watching any of them again seems worse than giving myself a lobotomy. But I can also confidently tell you that David played a fantastic villain and was probably the best part of every movie he was in. So the fact that he got shat on by other actors for choosing to star in it and then was horribly mistreated on set is honestly so shameful. He deserved much better.
