Yes this fandom is a blast from the past!

I first saw these episodes over 13 years ago, when season 4 aired end of 2009 into February 2010. But only a few months ago in February I was uploading all my collab parts for NBC's TV series Heroes and I was reminded of this ship and a bunch of other aspects of this show though those collab parts, and I never got the chance to vid with my 1080p versions of the episodes hardly at all since finally obtaining/downloading them, and part of me did really want to make good use of them. But I wasn't really planning to vid Heroes any time too soon.

But I've been unrelated really trying to get back into writing fanfiction since the end of last year and learning new things about story structure and how to write satisfying story arcs in fiction, and I was brainstorming unique asexuality related plotlines I might like to write since I'm asexual, and asexual representation in fiction is something that matters a lot to me and one day I hope to write and publish am original fiction novel with asexuality as a big backdrop to a lot of what's going on in it.

But for now, my focus is on fanfiction, and at one point it just suddenly hit me that likely unexplored territory for an ace/allo romance would be Emma/Peter!

I realized Emma & Peter were a ship of mine that never kissed on the show and we have no evidence contradicting a headcanon that Emma might be kissing-averse and sex-averse ace like me, so this would be a wonderful opportunity for me to practice writing a more unique ace/allo romance story arc. I remembered their final scene after a long separation and huge dire stakes both literally and emotionally was to run into a hug and that just felt like such a wonderful inspiration for an ace based fic I wanted to write.

So I started rewatching only scenes related to Peter or Emma in season 4 to prepare to write the fic. But I'm a vidder first and foremost and of course once I started my rewatch I couldn't help myself. I was freshly reaquainted with scenes and I really wanted to vid them too now that I knew the canon scenes inside and out. So I edited the vid first before even writing the fic. I ended up clipping them all as I rewatched so I have a collection of just Peter/Emma scenes/their storyline if anyone wants the link to them. Just ask! ~~~ Sidenote: it'll be my 2nd ace-themed fic featuring a Deaf character, which is an interesting coincidence to realize. I've been outlining a fic and I'm excited and still going to write it. But in the meantime... I've made a new fanvideo. This is my first solo (non-collab) fanvideo I've been able to finish and post since December with my Logan/Veronica "The Great War" vid, so first vid I've posted in 4.5 months, but in March I made 2/3rds of another solo vid for yet another fandom that I do hope to finish in the coming month or so. I finished 2 vids within a month ish of each other November and December and hope maybe I can do that here in May/June ish too, we'll see. My previous solo vid before the Veronica Mars one was a multi-fandom one ("Would've, Could've, Should've").

I finally got to watch & comment this wonderful video of yours 🤩 Their relationship look really sweet, I love how he was able to turn her power (which was destroying apparently) into an amazing thing for people around her.
