I don't think I'm on the train anymore. I'm on a ferris wheel going around and around. I've been ghosted, breadcrumbed, humiliated, and disrespected my entire active dating history. Many were just misfits or low value men, except the recent one. We were getting along fine. We saw each other five times. After the last time, he is gone. No more waiting because its been too long. No message is a message. It's very hard not to think that maybe there's something wrong with me, to be treated this way. I never have contacted him because I'm not desperate and I refuse to send an unwanted message. I am going to go on, even though my heart is broken. Maybe someday that train will stop for me to get on.
