PERFECT SURF as HURRICANE TEDDY Approaches

Hurricane Sally remnants were spinning off of us, and kicked up some swell that combined with Hurricane Paulette leftover swell, and it FIRED when no one expected it! For 2 hours before the wind switched, we had overhead perfect barrels with nearly no one around. I couldn't believe it... and I almost slept in that day thinking it wouldn't happen. Never hit Snooze!

My dads a good surfer and I'm big on fishing, so he's been trying to get me into surfing. I just started going but I'm not any good yet. Just at the point where I can paddle in and stand up but I can't do any tricks or anything yet. Your videos have been helping out though

Just left kitty hawk and couldn't make it down to hatteras this year because of the road closure... first time i couldn't make it down in years.. met you at the lighthouse last year and have to say meeting you and getting to watch u guys surf was the best year there!
