I was 9 or 10 when this happened I’m now 32 and it still feels like it was yesterday 😢 my godmother lost so many of her firefighter friends that day 😢

Realize, that day, there was only a rally of Americans helping each other. No looting, no hate, just working with each other and helping as much as we could.

My sister and I witnessed the exact moment when the second plane crashed on television in our old house in Hong Kong. Broadcasters in the city started live coverage soon after the first impact, and we were standing still in front of the screen, feeling like watching a sci-fi film because everything just seemed so unreal. A long time passed since then, and I’ve now been living in Tokyo for 20+ years, but that surreal experience still lives vividly inside my heart.

American policy can legitimately be contested... but that morning workers, fathers, mothers, grandparents... brothers... ordinary people... respectable people were killed. No one can forget.

I remember it like it was yesterday. A very sad day and 20 years of war afterwards. So many lives lost.

I was almost 21 when it occurred. I’m still shocked to this day those iconic Skyscrapers are gone. I briefly remembered the bombing of 93! Time flies!

In my school we had a moment of silence for all the lives that had been lost in this tragic day, I wasn’t alive but makes me upset and scared when I hear about this

R.I.P to all those lives that were lost on this day, May all those rest and those who caused these deaths be filled with guilt for wanting all this to happen, and to those who survived i feel deeply happy they are still with us, 9/11 changed all of us in many different ways. May everyone please their respects to the ones who have lost family members, friends, and lives.

Remember it was around 10pm or just after (Melbourne time). My partner and I had gone to bed (work night) and my Dad rang me and told me to turn on the tv. This was before a second plane had hit. As I watched I saw the second plane and the reporter was talking about a small commuter plane and I, knowing my airliners said to my partner ‘that wasn’t a small plane, it was a large airliner’. Also remember going in to work next morning and we had the TV’s on and my boss walked in and said ‘what’s up’ (as we were all watching the aftermath) as he had not seen any news as he had been in bed as well.

To have been watching when Live when the second plane attacked remains the most horrific thing I’ve ever seen on tv, and forever will be.
