Losing it on a Door

The plaintiff says she and the defendant used to date. The defendant got drunk one day, and he kicked in the plaintiff's door, so she's suing. The defendant admits he kicked the door in, but he claims he paid for most of it.

This case is bothering me. The fact that he threatened to pull a gun on her and smashed in her door seem to all be forgiven by the Judge and the plaintiff. Women die every day at the hands of intimate partners and these are warning signs. She should not stay friends with him; even to say hi and bye. She should steer clear of him and never talk to him again.

He doesn’t confront men because he’d loose.

She should have gotten every penny she was asking for. The move was a direct consequence of his drunk crazy behavior. She should have gotten him arrested and gotten the restraining order as well.

He’s crazy. Restraining order wouldn’t stop a bullet. I would’ve had him arrested and me my child would’ve been gone! She prolly would’ve won more. Because she stayed and continued to correspond with him - that’s cray cray too.

I can almost bet that the defendant showed signs of crazy waaay before spades night, and it wasnt the first time he called her out her name. If this was the first time she wouldn't have felt the need to ininvite him to the after party, but she knew from previous dealings that he was going to be a problem.
