They need to simplify the UI, use more obvious characters portraits like the art they made for the player cards and increase the character select time to 2 minutes. That or make a local online mode where you can play specifically with your friends and just turn the timer off. My friends and I have tournaments, but when we try to do team battles we struggle to get all 5 fighters.

Easy way to fix the clutter is to add a way to favorite characters you play frequently and move them to the top of the list so you ain't gotta scroll for them

I'm telling you I already know this, but when I'm playing online or w/friends my brain turns off and I select then one by one. The amount of times I've gotten early Z Goku on my teams 😂

I found this out on my own, it's still not enough time for 180+ characters (with many more on the way) and while I can get all of my characters, 99% of the time my friend suffers and I don't feel good about beating my friend at the game because she wasn't able to get all the characters she wanted in time, You should at least be able to customize the time In private rooms.

They should just patch it to a ready up system instead of a timer. Also, they need to Change certain characters to like Goku to the eras vs having an OPTION FOR EVERY VERSION OF GOKU.

Or increase the damn timer. 40 seconds to choose 5 characters is insane especially with a cutscene between each selection. Should be at least 1:30 sec
