Drone footage shows flooded roadways in Texas from Beryl

Many of the millions left without power after Hurricane Beryl crashed into Texas, killing several people and unleashing flooding, sweltered and fretted Tuesday as the storm deprived them of air conditioning, food and water in dangerous heat.

A heat advisory took effect through Wednesday in the Houston area and beyond, with temperatures expected to soar into the 90s (above 32.2 Celsius) and humidity that could make it feel as hot as 105 degrees (40.5 Celcius).

I was 125 miles inland from where Beryl made landfall. I was on the northwest corner of the eye. I had sustained winds of 88mph with Gusts over 100mph. This was nothing like a minimum Cat 1 Hurricane! I grew up around lineman workers. They even said the Damage from this Hurricane is what They see from A Very Strong 2 if not a 3! This storm was one of a kind. I Thank God that the conditions it went through from start to finish were not that favorable. This would have been a Cat 5 if not for God Above! My thoughts and prayers are with All My Fellow Texans Especially for those that lost Family, Friends and Everything They Owned!
