Right now my biggest fear is stepping back into the gym. I was consistent going in there deathly afraid getting in my workouts. Until around summer I just stopped going because I got comfortable staying home. I feel like I have bad body dismorphia due to my skinny build. After watching this video I gotta go back into it now. I’ve been in the army for almost 4 years now, and I always get asked why I joined, and to be honest I don’t know why. I was 17 years old in my grandma’s yard and I was telling God that I didn’t know what to do with my life and I was scared. a couple days later I got a call asking if I wanted to join the army, and here I am. I don’t know why God wanted me here or why he needed me here but I know I have changed peoples lives around me and they have definitely changed mine and I have never been closer to God than now, I’m still working to improve my religion and learn more about the Bible, and maybe that was Gods plan for bringing me here to grow closer to him and to my family.

We are here to please God, not people. We please God, and we serve people, and by serving people, we serve God.
The fear of the Lord (respect/knowledge not being “afraid of Him”) will make you do things for God that you never thought you would do before. At the end of the day, it is the Will of God that counts.

When we focus on The Messiah we overcome fear because Faith (trust and hope) is stern and fixed on Him. But when our focus and faith is not on The Messiah that’s where fear enters and entangles/trips us up. Which is what happened to Peter and many of us. Let not fear be your focus, let Faith in the One that can carry your through any storm be the focus.

My fear was letting go of my home, family, and friends. God has called me to attend biblical college which means I have to step into the uncomfortable. I couldn’t be more excited because whatever God has for me will be greater than I could ever imagine. Faith over Fear.

Amen, aspiring medical student here. This was reassuring because I’ve been fearing the admissions staff for medical schools and I haven been overthinking my application heavily . To the point where I only slept for 3 hours . The only force I should tear is God amen .

I think my biggest fear right now is what to do with my life. What to choose. I have so many options. I want to enjoy what I choose. School, no school, what direction do I take in school, take a trip, what trip. All these things overwhelm me and just keep me idle. Which isn’t good! I’m learning to trust God in His timing and that no planning can make my life perfect. He will be with me in any decision I make. It’s the matter of what to do that I’m like ahh

!!! I’m hesitating so much for becoming a fireman but I really have that at heart. Currently studying in college, dropping everything to be a fireman when it’s hard financially in my house is a huge risk. But I have it at heart. I want to try, I want to make the jump.
