I remember Elvis backstage of the Louisiana hayride. Elvis is my all time favorite singer!
In Taiwan, where I live, in he is called Mao Wang in Chinese. (Not like chairman mao!). It means Cat King in English! I love that, as I have 3 cats, also.

My mother met him one time in Vegas when they were performing together. She was a famous dancer. She broke her toe on stage, and Elvis' doctor set it.

I think Lennon and Darin are the best realised ones here. Saddest thing of all, there was no chance for Bobby Darin, he had a bad heart and was living on stoppage time his whole adult life. He made the most of the hand he was dealt.

I don't know how you do it, but to me, they all look like a little surprised, ( gosh am I back alive ). It's lovely to remember these talented people. What joy they brought to us and still do, has each generation listened and learn of them.
