She's not wrong. The effort was not there from the start. They asked a specific question and she answered. If you watched the game she was spot on about the lack of defensive effort.
Even Caitlin agreed and yet, when she's honest, it's "she answered the question well, but...."

She has always been a good defender.
If I’m remember correctly she transferred from Stanford( played at Baylor as a graduate transfer)

In the journey to most improved, she didn’t comform to today's mindset of working on shots and offense. She focused on being a great defender and it's translated to her offense. She even made personal adjustments for her nails to be a better player. Respect😌😌
