I love Porsche's PHEV brake pedal. Rather than try to blend regen & friction, it communicates what you are using. Top is softer and regen: turns to normal feel once into friction brakes. While not a "consistent" feel, it communicates to the driver. Very easy to modulate IMO.

BMW and Volvo PHEVs were a no-go for me because changing from electric, hybrid, and gas is buried in the touchscreen. That's something I use multiple times per drive.

Sport Design Package is a must especially if it's gonna be a white colour. Otherwise the unpainted bumper makes it look so cheap

button to heat steering wheel is behind the steering wheel at 6'0 clock position.

Is that the standard steering wheel? It looks very sporty so maybe the car has an optional steering and therefore it´s not heated.

Nice video! I think you have to take into account who and why someone is going to be buying the Porsche Cayenne e-hybrid version versus non hybrid one (like the Cayenne S or Turbo). I think the e-hybrid is the next step for someone looking towards an all electric vehicle, looking to reduce green house gas somewhat, but is also concerned about infrastructure across America that is not quite ready to support electric only vehicles. It's a perfect vehicle to begin that process: switch between all electric and gas, better overall miles per gallon, Porsche power when you need it and the interior styling, functionality and ride of a Porsche. I would definitely consider purchasing the Cayenne e-hybrid as my next vehicle.

How do you think this hybrid smoothness compares to other things like Lexus'?
I wanted to get my dad into a V6 hybrid Pcar, but I come from the Lexus Acura JDM world and this would be our first german car.
Should I just wait for a good v8 one and buy that? They like the V8 in the LS and I think it would be overkill especially as the V8's also have turbo's if i right?
I was thinking this or like a lexus v6 hybrid?

its there for the heated wheel but you need to pay a extra monthly fee to activate it.

Good Porsche look but not as well calibrated of a powertrain as the X5. Pricey too. Good choice with good bits, nonetheless.

After watching this, I seriously would consider going to the Lexus RX 450h+ —- in a different class but the refinement doesn’t seem there with the Porsche.
