Hi I'm from Pakistan dipping or washing your face with cold water is old tradition my granny said never wash your face with warm water or you'll have skin issues alway wash with cold water if you don't want any skin issues in life, not just face but whole body once you get use to it it's life changer for your health in many cases. I ice rub dip my face in cold water bowl and bath ice tub. We fine so far but in winters we gotta warm up water. But always end bath with cold water

One time I used ice on my face and I didn't even kept it for long but my face was red very red till the evening, I searched what was happening and it was mild ice burn, my face felt hot and red till I applied warm compression over it.please be careful to not apply ice directly if you have thin or sensitive skin
