The reason kaliningrad exists is because before the world wars it was east prussia. Then after world war 1, danzig split up east Prussia from the rest of germany and the justification hitler used to start the second world war and only after their defeat was that territory taken by russian and renamed kaliningrad

The International Date Line separating those islands are not 24 hours apart. The line is where a new day/date begins and the old day/date ends.
Time is a human invention, and is inaccurate.

As a German, it hurts to see the Russians owning Königsberg (today Kaliningrad).
But as a *Bavarian*, it lightens my day to know, that the Capitol of Prussia (one of Bavarias enemies) is now owned by it's hated and feared enemy, Russia. ^^

Try the green line in Cyprus, separates the Turkish north from the Greek south. It goes through the capital itself and you can get shot if you accidentally wander near it.

What about Baarle-Nassau and Baarle- Hertog? It’s a town in the Netherlands that has bits and pieces of Belgium kinda scattered around the town
