I'm Reform and switching to a local Chabad, I never was kosher and now I'm learning. Thanks for the egg info. I don't eat them except to cook with, so I never checked.

i just want to say thank you! i'm not Jewish but i did find out my great grandparents on my moms side was jewish and my grandmother was jewish until 1940, she became catholic and did not tell anyone she was jewish, BUT she keeped a lot of orthodox jewish customs (im finding out) like i was always taught to crack the egg in a glass cup and inspect it for blood then if even has one little speck in it i need to toss it out, and the rule if you have a boy they need to be circumcised and do not cut his hair until he was Three and many more customs, i never even knew they were jewish customs until watching your videos these customs i still carry on in my family

Cool! Not consuming blood isn’t even only an orthodox Jewish belief, it’s also messianic or a Christian practice. Jesus instructed us not to consume blood bc the life is in the blood. ❤

I dnt think they sell bloody eggs in America lol. we dnt have any kosher stores near us ( that we know of) but we shop at whatever markets available. I never seen blood in an egg, but I definitely would be grossed out, especially since I'm funny about bird meat anyway lol
