Candling your eggs multiple times won't hurt your eggs (except after day 18) and it can help you prevent a rotten egg explosion by helping you remove unviable eggs that are building dangerous pressure from the gasses of a dead chick 🫣🤢

I’m getting ready to hatch my first eggs! I was told to let them sit in the incubator for about 3 days, candle, toss the ones that didn’t show life…..then lock down till hatch day and see what happens. I was under the impression that opening the incubator Amy time during the process was super bad?? I know the last few days are lock down time. I’m super new to hatching my own. My incubator is very similar to yours.

wow- 10/10 video. Thank you! My first experience with an incubator---and now will candle the first batch--I bought online. So where should the air sac be for birth? This little incubator rolls the eggs around a few times a day so do I thru that off the last day or so? How should I position the eggs on the last day or 2 prior to birth or should I mess with them. My thought was I would candle now, get any out that are no good, and leave the rest alone until day 21. But I should candle again? thanks

I'm on day 5 and the yolk in one of the eggs is moving around freely, a "loose yolk egg" according to incubator instructions. Should I remove it? Also, another egg has 2 yolks, should I also remove that?

OK I found some turkey eggs in my woods. Not quite sure how long they sat there. Something killed the mother turkey which she wasn’t wild. She was somebody’s turkey and I’ve incubated him for five days now and do you think I should keep incubating them or are they no good I don’t see anything in them, and I actually broke one and just found a yolk.
