Hi ah pa, after roasting the whole block and keep in the glass jar. May I know where to keep them? In the fridge or can leave outside?

Try adding a few toasted macadamia nuts, in place of candlenut, to a small amount of the sambal blachan. Macadamia nut is quite similar in taste and texture to candlenut, but does not have to be cooked. Most macadamia nut already comes toasted..that is unless you are buying the raw form. In which case, go ahead and toast it before using.
