U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S. are essentially one union at this point.

I don't agree with the UK being an A. No doubt the UK has been the best ally for the USA.

I think AUKUS cemented the importance of the US UK and Australia alliance

Correction : Nepal wasn't, isn't and never be an ally of China. It has a very close historical and emotional connection with India. Indians and Nepalis don't require Visas or permits to enter or work in each other's countries. I have grown up with Nepali people in Delhi, India. They can never go against us.

Japan is our closest I’d say now since this video came out. That country really is a treasure, amazing people, smart, determined etc.. Even going back to WW2, it may have been rough but they were so goddamn tough and friggin powerful and the rate they grew was second to the US military growth at the start of us going into WW2

UK is still my favorite US ally. Love that country.

He put South Korea in S Tier but the UK in A Tier. 😅 Canada & the UK will always be the United States' closest allies.

UK is our closest ally, followed by Canada and then Australia

obviously no matter what the US and canada will be the closest (hopefully it always stays that way) but the UK still should’ve been S tier

Good list. I would’ve put Japan into S to though, only bc of the military importance due to its proximity to China. We have way more in common with the UK culturally, but Japan is just a more important geopolitical location imo.

I'm from the US but isn't the UK the best ally and they have a 'special relationship '

1:31 Vietnam, Israel, Philippines and South Korea have a more favorable view of the US than the Americans themselves lol

As an American & speaking with many Americans, the UK is absolutely tier S. Horrible & shallow assessment. Closest allies: UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, S.. Korea, Isreal, NZ & i'll throw France in there as a very close ally.

I think your rank makes sense. Although I would do some changes-

Canada and UK in S. As you mention, UK has been less than ideal but it is still at a better standing than rest of Europe from American political AMD military point (forget cultural!).

And I would rank South Korea and Japan at A. South Korea is a great ally but only in sense on North Korea- it really does not like being in Chinese demands like Japan where it actively tries to resist China. South Korea is a S tier only if taking about the Korean Peninsula. Japan is at A because they probably won’t change. Realized back in 1960s that sticking with US was the right move due to how much they’ve developed.

And France is also on edge in A tier because it is a good ally but tries its hardest to DPRK a independent policy- which does get annoying.

Germany and Italy (I’d say rest of Europe) are in B. Nations like Germany do share US policy and fundamental but seems less interested in actual alliance. While nations like Poland dont actulaly advocate for fundamental western values but would have great military alliance with US- so it’s one or the other.

India is much more middle ground now so probably C. Def not the same as Germany or Italy.

I would say that Germany is A tier and the Uk Japan and France would be S tier

If you do not know how and why the US number Ally no 1 even today happens to be the UK then why make such a video.

Canada has zero power projection and much less soft power globally, the only way the Canada and the U.S merge as close would current culture.

The UK still happens to be the powerful Ally to the U.S, even with a Anti British administration the U.S military is joined to the hip with the UK military as well as international interests worldwide as well as culture and history as the US came from the UK. They did not just fight, they were mostly of British origin, not Irish or German.

The US toke everything from it's constitutional rights and National Anthem as well as everything from the law and banking systems as they were originally British as well as the founders.

Indo-US allies is one of the most win-win situations if maintains an equal level instead of becoming dependent on US. Nobody in US or in India need a dependent India.

The UK is 100% S teer for a US. All English speaking nations are S teer for our common language and culture.
