The Zodiac Killer's name was Arthur Leigh Allen. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 18th, 1933, he grew up in Vallejo, California and graduated from Vallejo High School in 1950. He killed up to 11 people by the time his 2nd cipher was decoded, and liked to taunt police with letters detailing his crimes and wore makeup to change his appearance. He frequently went by his middle name and died of arteriosclerotic heart failure on August 26th, 1992. He tricked women in rural areas, telling them they had problems with their tires and loosened their lug nuts and taking them captive. He died in the hospital.
