Hey man I work in Atmos Music and Post for film. Something you need to know about working in Atmos with a full multi speaker set up is ‘speaker bass management’. This is a feature in the actual Dolby Atmos Rendereder. What that means is you set a cross over point to send low end from all the monitors to the LFE along with the LFE channel. Essentially using the LFE sub as a sub for all your monitors. Without this you can’t properly monitor in Atmos with a 5.1-7.1.4 set up. You MUST have the the Renderer to monitor properly at this time. No plug-in companies currently offer something to replace this feature. There is one but it doesn’t work with the necessary channel count. Since I have experience working with Atmos and Logic I can help. Is there a way to contact you directly?

Great resource really appreciate it - I was trying to find spatial reference tracks to drag into Logic and study them but they are seemingly non existent. My only workaround was to bounce the demo spatial track that ships with logic for testing but it would be nice to hear some examples in other genres. Looking forward to more updates in this subject Chris thanks

Good stuff... While mixing in atmos I can still bounce an mp3 or wav. Indeed it sounds much bigger and wider than regular stereo mix but what does that mp3 or wav represent exactly? Since they're just channel based files can I just use them as my stereo mix?
