I'm trying to connect my Roland TD-27 V-drums to Logic. Do I set both the output and input to TD-27? I'm really having a hard time with this.

Sup man, having some troubles with my vocal chains and inputs. When I have my vocal chain set up things work great, but it's only playing out of one ear when I record. I can see the size of my voice recording and it's showing barely anything probably because it's recording into one side only. Any advice?

I have been trying to record for a long time, YEARS and cannot figure this stuff out. MY Logic Pro X has nothing that I need, in the input drop downs! There are NO names of interfaces. The only choices there are "System Setting" and "MacBook Pro Microphone". BOTH do not allow me to record any sounds, not MIDI, not guitar, not a mic, no keyboards, nothing!

I have instruments that are their own "interface" and those do not allow me to record sound either! I only get a feedback loop from the MacBook Pro built in mic, that will never turn off.

Every helpful YouTube video starts by that person choosing their device from an input drop-down menu. Why does my brand new Logic Pro X have NOTHING in the drop down?

I have never been able to record not one note, ever!


Why does every person on YouTube already HAVE a list of products to choose from, in their drop down? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?
