I was somewhat of a collector until a few years ago when I returned back home for a holiday, broke out my rare Sega CDX and my, even rarer, copy of Hideo Kojimas "SNATCHER"...

Only to find out it has disc rot. It's now useless.

From that second I stopped becoming a collector.
So something like this is extremely attractive.

I use to use emulators over a decade ago but this seems like a good way to go about it now. I for one don't want to risk having my internet provider know what I'm downloading. I'm also having my lady buy me a Retriod Pocket 4Pro or a Odin 2 not sure which, but she's getting me one of them, and I plan on moving a bunch of those games to that. I'd figure hey buy that and just wt it over.

Here's the thing about these all in one drives. they are relentlessly boring. yes you have a mega library but you're also shuffling through hundreds of games just to get to a couple. in my opinion its best to get something like this and keep an archive of everything then you can pull from it to your main library which will be in something more portable. and don't fill your main library. only add games as you need. you will have a growing library where everything in there will have meaning. and don't be afraid to pull games too, if you have a few games you know you won't touch again just remove them, especially stuff like romhacks. there are so many that are quite experimental but aren't worth playing more than twice.

Hi dweeb, I deleted the playnite folder but after doing so retrobat is not loading anymore. I get an error message telling me that a file is missing or corrupted emulationstation.exe but the folder it is in is not accessible. Did you get any problems like that?
